|There's videos here for all of the basic crochet stitches. That's a lot easier than learning it out of a book, like I did. If you learn chain, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, double crochet and how to decrease, that will get you through almost all patterns.
What a cute doll, Mekos. I think those curly things are made by just making long strings of single crochet? They curl up on themselves. I've made flower pins using the same method.
