sally, when we moved into the house we are in now 10 years ago the little old lady next to us saw my statue of St. Francis and asked me if I knew about St Fiacre, having never heard of him before she proceeded to say he was the patron St. of gardner's. I looked it up and lo and behold I saw he was supposed to be along with a few other things. I found an article from Dave's on some info http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/2616/ I don't have a problem here finding gargoyles, seems I see them at a lot of bigger nursery's. There is also a concrete maker in Quakertown about 45 minutes from me that makes just about anything. That is where we got the dragon for my husband. ![]() It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give... |
