| too impatient to wait for them to make roots and then grow... I am a want it now kinda girl... but I have kept cuttings in six packs so long the roots grow out & under and some were a foot long.. they don't mind it at all... if you look in this post (link below).. you can see I cut up my failed seeds cowpots and made slits in them to slip around the stem of the plant.. and to block the soil from washing out .. the six pack size leaves gaps so I figured out a way to make watering easy for the first few weeks.. block of the holes and loose a lot less soil http://cubits.org/MidAtlanticMusings/pics/2010-02-17/Onewish... |
