Sally - too funny about the running away screaming "smiley" ![]() We've also had a couple of snakes at the mountain house - found a baby copperhead (newly dead, have no clue why) out on the driveway. Neighbors have told us to be careful near our pond. Whoops - had not considered that!!! ![]() Then on another visit, we found a small snake (but bigger than the copperhead) caught in the mouse trap in the garage. We did ID it, but now can't remember what we decided. ![]() Bob, that was the first and only bear we've seen here in about 2.5 years. We know they're around, and luckily they're not a problem in terms of damage, for us. So, your sightings of bears have dropped off this year? Wonder why?
