Well Great!, finished the stairs this morning early, so I have been resting this afternoon, don't die with shock, Hee Hee.

I'm so jealous of Neil's flowers that my shell snapped shut!....phooey! I'm all clammed up here in the below zero temps and all the deep snow. My grapevines get pruned in Feb. Yeah, sure....I can't even get to them! Keep taking care Muriel, hope you are all better very soon. Jamie.

Really beautiful pictures Neil. (Phooey! Hilarious! )

Thanks Jamie.
there is about 6/8 plants, shrubs that seem to have taken their toll when we had our bad weather, but still too cold to be out in the garden to sort it out.
Take cae.

Daffodils around the back or mothers, they are nearly there. The ones in the front are south facing so enjoying it . These are in the shade and north facing, but will not be long.

Lovely to see spring flowers and some in bud, except for my snowdrop, my other spring flowers are just green shoots at the moment, but my winter heathers are in flower, so that cheers one up.

I took our lawn up here, as then it was used as a toilet by the cats in the area at the time, not too many come now in the garden, only our two, they would rather use their tray than go out in the garden in the winter.
We are to expect more bad weather so we have been informed today on TV.
All the people with that white stuff, take care and warm.

Joy of joy, have been up the garden this morning, a few days ago thought my gooseberry bush had died, but today there are tiny buds on it, so now I am hoping that when the time comes for my blueberries to bud, it will come alive. but my two corderline are black but will give it till end of March if no sing of life then they will have to be dug up, plus about four other plants as well.

Muriel Gr4at to have a plant come through the winter. I worry about the sweet fern as it is next to the drivway & has had snow from the plow & the walk piled on top of it.

Better for them if they're buried I think Lucy. Then at least they are insulated and protected.

I wasn't worried about hardiness, its the broken branches because of the weight of the snow.

We won in the six Nations Rugby yesterday! England 59 - Italy 13 and we should have had more but from some silly schoolboy errors. Scotland got beaten by Wales 19-3, and today it is France Vs Ireland which could be interesting.
Then there was sadness, as at Newbury races, three horses that were being paraded in the ring were electrocuted! Two died and one has thankfully recovered. It was terrible to see, the Police are investigating as well as the Health & Safety. So far they think it may be a 30 year old cable that broke underground, but they are not sure. The jockeys got a shock but survived.
Regards.
Neil.
