Of course!...he herds them...REALLY!....other dawgs, even corgis will defer to him. In the neighborhood we have many different terrier types too, and his best 'student' is a german shepard. They all play together but he circles them and and takes them where they 'need to be'; when he's tired, he says, "enuf now!" and lays down. Then they all lie down around him and wait for the next signal. If they get bored, they will lick his nose...I've had many dawgs, but never one like this guy! He's not that big, but he's a magnet, for the neighbors too, but particularly for other dawgs.....I think he is the REAL 'dawg whisperer'.

These Aquilegias can be a pest as they cross and you get all sorts of colours! Then they seed themselves everywhere, which is another pain in the rear.
You cannot give the things away as everyone has the same problem with them!
Regards.
Neil.

Dear Jamie, because they seed themselves everywhere! You get them in the paving cracks in bits of the garden you do not want them so have to weed them out!
With them and Foxgloves as we get lots of them, they are like another weed!
Regards.
Neil.

I know Neil you say the same thing about foxgloves but I do not have any problems with them re-seeding like that. Course now Solidago is a completely different kettle of fish as is the stupid Campsis radican.

They must have tough roots as well as they don't want to come out of our gravel driveway. The only thing to do is to deadhead.

ypu're kidding Cece....I can't keep trumpet vine alive or flowering. I like the golden rod but then, in the shade here it is a breath of nice color along the woods.
