Since blackbirds in Eng. are a thrush they act like the Am. robin which is also a thrush. One guide told me that a common question from American tourists is 'why are your robins black"? Of course the robins in Britain are a different class of bird. an English friend was watching one of the Am robins in disbelief. I had to tell him that they were named 'robin' because of the red breasts by homesick English colonial settlers.

Don't worry Connie, Oliver is facing Death Row! He has dug up a lot of petunias I planted this morning so I am not very happy with him.

BBC 1 are starting at 8:30am on Friday (Royal Wedding) I have the times through to the 11:00 of troops, guests, lot of the guests start to arrive at 8:30 that is non family, even Prince William and Prince Harry will be at the Abbey 45 minutes before the bride arrives.

It would be a better idea to be in the pub first then go at the last minute. There is a good pub just down the road from the Abbey!

Yes like you and Peter and Sarah, on Peter and my wedding day, I was at the registry office and no family there, was not very happy about that.

Muriel why waste 45 minutes standing in a drafty church, when you can sit down in a warm church with a pint of beer! You know the bride has the prerogative of being late, so why waste even more time. Once married you are going to have to stand around waiting hours for your now wife to get ready to go out, so enjoy your last hour of freedom before the Handcuffs go on and the nagging starts!
Hugs.

You might get nagged, I do not, we share what we want to do, and give each other space, which is what married life is all about.but on the whole both of us like being at home most of the time, plus both of you not to take each other for granted, which can be easy to do, if not cafefull.

Our 'Gentle giant' daffodil is in bloom, likewise the small species trillium. that one looks like it has spread a bit.

Neil, are you sure that Peter won't train you?

Dear Lucy, the last time we went out on a pub crawl Peter got us barred from the Butchers! Should not mix cider and beer together, I was fine he was most unwell!
It has just been on our news that the Police are worried about the Muslim Crusade some radical group that wish to hold a Demonstration outside the Abbey during the Royal Wedding.
They have been told it is not allowed, but according to their website they are calling Muslims to come and disrupt the Wedding!
If they do not like the UK, we would be most happy to see the back of them!
I so hope they do not spoil what should be our Nations and Kate & Williams Happy Day!
Regards.
Neil.

They need to get attention which is why they do it. If it does not take place they still are getting attention.

Dear Doris, that looks lovely! We could do with some of your rain here!
Everyone wants to come to our house tomorrow and after the Royal Wedding the men are going to the pub, of course.
So I am cooking traditional Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding for everyone, I knew I would get that job.
Sarah is just finishing her carrot cake and a huge chocolate cake to take into work as they are having a party at work tonight as well.
The next road is having a street party tomorrow and if it rains the school has said they can use there big hall as all the local children can join in as well.
Red, white and blue everywhere Doris.
Love.
Neil.

Lovely Doris.

Neil likes to dish out, but if Peter started to give back, which he is good at, neighbours here like talking to Peter, as nine times out of ten, they end up in fits of laughter. so Neil watch out, you may be in for a shock, if you tyr and do training, Peter has just been in fits of laughter when I told him what you said about the butchers, the girl should have kep't her mouth shut, then she would not have got a mouthfull from Peter.

She did keep her mouth shut unfortunately Peter didn't on too much cider! Whilst he wanted to buy a Mr. Blobby life size helium filled balloon and sent me to get a marker pen.
Then he tried to get it in a Taxi and was charged for an extra passenger!
We could beat anyone together, as he will tell you!
Except my Terrier Tess who bit him, so he used to bribe her with cheese not to bite him!
Regards.
