Muriel gave me this Clematis years ago without a label. I do not know what it is, but it is pretty enough to leave climbing over the fence.

Very hot, in the 90sF this week. Even without 'sticky' it's unbearable at that temp. Weeded today & have itchy eyes from all the grass pollen.

Thank goodness we had two good rains Thurs. and Fri. Will only have to water the plants in the containers and water down the orchids. Lee

Neil, if you got Trout, then why did you show a picture of a Lion??! Whistling Hilarious! We had Seafood today also--- we took John out for an early 'Father's Day' dinner, since my grown daughter had to go back to her home in Austin tonight. We had 3 out of 4 kids here today--- one son is in the Navy, based in California at the present. John also got a Smoker for a gift, since his BBQ Pit has just about rusted to bits! I would say he is fairly satisfied.... fell asleep in his chair--- been working tooo many hours.
Lee, Padre Island (like Linda said) is probably what you're talking about--- you can even take tour boats out to see the endangered Whooping Cranes when they come in to a certain place every year. Actually, you can see different seabirds just going down to the T-Heads at the Bayfront, where the shrimpboats & other ships are docked. I like to look for Egrets & Pelicans out there; you can sometimes watch a pelican swoop down & scoop up a fish!
Muriel, blow some Rain across the ocean--- you did last year! Rolling my eyes.
Linda, you sound as Hot as we are!
Have a good Evening everyone! Group hug
