Quick heavy downpour tonight. Then it went out to see. Went to our local music theater this afternoon & saw 'My Fair Lady'. Have gone afternoons last yr & this so don't have to drive at night. worst is getting out of the parking lot.
Dear Lee and Connie, I was in fact up to something as you claim. It is called sleeping as if you look at the times you sent your posts they were after three o' clock in the morning here!
Lucy I am glad you enjoyed your musical, sounds fun!
Muriel had a lot to do today being Fathers Day! Then had to finish Part 4 of my Article, so I have done that and it is the last one.
The time just flies by and you don't know where it has gone. The weather is still miserable here.
It has been sunny then overcast, but today not much rain, as I sent it over to Connie
Off to bed soon, as I have been told by the medics to rest as much as I can, last BP check 150 / 90 have to go for more check up next Friday.
Dear Linda, my father did as usual. Loves to see the family and have his favourite thing apart from a wee dram, which is Yorkshire Pudding! Served with Roast Beef and lashings of thick gravy of course! My Part 4 Article on Chelsea will be out tonight!
Hold on a moment Ladies please! If blood pressure is caused by pain, then what Muriel has inflicted on me over the last 16 years, I should now be in outer space with the pressure!
But we love her really, and I do hope the Dr. can sort something out for her. Leeches can relieve blood pressure, and are nice fried or so I am told!!
Or a drill bit, that might work!
Dear Bonnie, I do hope you and Tom are well? I have finished my last Article on Chelsea and will be off to the worlds biggest Flower Show at Hampton Court Palace in July!
The Ladies at Chelsea only drink Pimm's, which is such a shame. I really think you should educate them!
Here is the Pimm's stand at Chelsea!
On a gardening tour we stopped at Hampton court. Their steel walkways got to my knees so walked on the grass after awhile. Claire Austin booth had roses as too late for irises. Tough time getting from train station in London back to the hotel as it was the year of the bombs on tube & bus.
DG featured paper bark maple today. I didn't realize that if was an asian tree. Miss the shagbark hickory we had in CT. Looked out the window & saw Baltimore oriole working over tulip tree flowers. About time they showed up.
Muriel, sure hope the Dr, can get you fixed up soon! High blood pressure is nothing to mess with. Don't eat any salt or salty foods.
We don't have Baltimore orioles here, but we do have hooded orioles. They drink more of the nectar from the humming bird feeders, that the hummers do!
