Ruined castles aren't much fun inside. Go see something like the Tower of London. Hope you feel better, Neil. I get novacane from my dentist for many small things. I also listen to his radio as I don't like to listen to the drill. & that is for much smaller projects than Neil has.

No more Dr's appointment until Nov. I hope. When we get back from our travels I will have to get another shot in my right shoulder, though. I am in pain most of the time but don't have time for an appointment right now.

Muriel, it's the same here. There is some sort of storm brewing off the coast and they say it will be like this for several days.

Neil, that word is in the OED.

TTL kiddies.

Hope you are better this afternoon, Neil.

Dear Nancy and Connie, I did not have any liquid painkiller immediately after coming out of the Hospital. This was because my mouth was numb and sore and I feared if I drank anything I would spill it.
So I went and got a pork pie for my parents in the market and when my mouth felt a bit better then went for some liquid painkiller. For to get a single malt and spill some is unforgivable, I would rather see blood spilt, than that.
Love.
Neil.

Neil I hope the mouth is better? Is there an ending to you plight soon? I swear I would be fit to be tied if it had taken so long for me to get my teeth. Which reminds me, I need to make an appointment to get the aligned again. As the gum shrinks they don't fit so good and have such a bone structure as I have (meaning hardly any bone at all) they loosen up even with the stick um and I like to eat too much.
the faster I go, the behinder I get

Thinkin' of ya Neil--- hope your mouth is healed soon--- more 'liquid medicine' today??!
We need some rain like some of the other places are getting! Although a friend told me tonight she had a little rain shower this afternoon where she lives--- and I said, 'What??! You only live about 5 minutes from me!' ... told her she must've had a little Cloud come sit above her house and sprinkle some drops there... because we got Nothing over here!! Hilarious!
Hope all of you are having a nice weekend! Group hug

Yay! We had rain today also, Linda! Right in the middle of church, several huge claps of Thunder sounded, and it was raining hard when we left!--- Sooo nice and refreshing! Maybe things will green-up some around here! Rolling my eyes. Hurray!

Dear all, sorry I have not been around much lately but have not felt that good! However better today and went over my mothers with Sarah for Sunday Dinner. Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. It was gorgeous and the beef was so good I could eat it with no teeth at all. What a treat it was, and horseradish sauce as well.
I have definitely gone off Dentists even more now, if that is possible?
The weather is horrible here with the wind and the rain, you cannot do a thing in the garden at all. Blowing the trees everywhere.
Love to all.

Hope you got a nice sleep, for I didn't! The wind is rattling everything, although it did stop raining last night! Today was at least dry so I could get out and see what the damage was from the tail end of this Hurricane that has hit us. Does not look good, but like everything it can be repaired. You could hardly stand up in the wind it was that strong, and with Sarah having Brussels sprouts with her dinner last night it was windy in here too! Rolling on the floor laughing Wind everywhere, oh bring back spring for me.
Group hug

Neil, you sound so much better. Yippee.

Today I went and looked at an Apple and was impressed. The one thing that is really slowing me down to make the final jump is that I'm afraid that I will not all all my files, pictures, programs, etc. I know I have to buy iOffice and my accounting program that I use, Quicken, but if it can be done I think that I will be joining you on the Apple parade!!!

Is there any info that you could help me with, oh, guru????

Hugs

Dear Nancy, yes you can use anything you use on a pc on a Apple if you split it! But really there is no reason to do that as word for Mac is compatible with microsoft, quicken is easy and cheap to buy for a Mac, all pictures and files if on a microsoft pc can be moved over as they can be shared, as can pictures as well. Simple to do really as well. Don't forget you are a blonde and Macs are very secure so if you forget your password that is it, as you cannot get in to it.
Don't be tempted to buy a cheap one as they are a lot cheaper over in the US than here. Buy one that will last, it may sound a lot of money but it will not go wrong, and last you a long time.
Need anymore help e-mail me.
Group hug

Neil, I'm used to all the wind most days, except August which has alot of hot, humid, still days... In fact, we have National and International Windsurfing and Sailing competitions over at the Bayfront here. I hope you didn't have too much damage from your windy weather!
Neil, Hope your mouth is doing better today... if it's not hurting too much, does that mean you don't need to drink any of that 'liquid medicine'??! Whistling Hilarious!
Nancy, good luck on picking-out another computer; I know you've been needing one! Rolling my eyes.
My son Joshua, on deployment in the Navy, sent me an email today & said he's about one-third through with their cruise out there (Pacific Ocean, & Arabian Gulf area). I'm getting a 'Goody-Box' put together again to send to him on the ship--- takes 2-3 weeks to get it! The Sailors tend to really enjoy Beef Jerky, and other snacks they can't get right now--- like PopTarts of all things!! Rolling on the floor laughing and he likes his Motorcycle magazines to look at, since he misses his bike alot!
Everyone take care! Group hug
