Dear Muriel, I did run over the roof tops for Sarah's chocolate. Only to find the man in the shop gave me 85% cocoa butter dark chocolate and Sarah likes milk! I cooked for dad yesterday as mother had been to the osteopath and was aching all over. I did him some pork tenderloin in a lovely apple sauce with saute potato's, baby carrots and his beloved fresh garden peas. There was nothing left at all, he demolished it and then had raspberries and cream, plus a scotch to wash it down! Rolling on the floor laughing
As the raspberries were the best in the world from Scotland, he claimed it was necessary to salute them with a large malt whisky! I totally agree.
Love.
Neil.

Dear Charleen, one hopes he is alright? I was going to ask you if I could ride him in the Olympics, but he probably would say no, although I can ride. I sent a post to Garden Art on ATP for you with my lazy cat on, as she is now on a diet! No rodent hunting, means reduced rations, as she is too fat!
Give my love to everyone, and I hope it stops raining here by Christmas!
Love.
Neil.
p.s. Would this do for Charley to rest and have his dinner in? Rolling on the floor laughing

Dear Linda, that thing is massive! Is that a swimming pool, jacuzzi or a wine/Belgium beer hauler in the back? You would not be able to park that in our road, as it is tiny!
Hope you are OK?
Love.

Boy, Neil, you sure woke everyone up!! Can't believe people are losing interest in this, they are all just very busy. Heard last night that the Pres. is going to call a National Emergency for the mid-states because of the heat and drought. Last night they showed a lake that was grassland now because of no rain. It had completely gone done to nothing. Wonder what people are doing with their cattle, sheep, etc. It's bad!!!!

Take care all,

Hugs,

Nancy

Dear Nancy, all politicians announce something when an election is coming up! Maybe he can pray and if it does rain act like God, that might get him a few votes. I went out last night on my own which is the first time in a long time. They have reopened a pub that was shut down because of trouble into a Gastro pub. The beer tasted like washing up water and was horrendously expensive, and the food was disgusting so I sent it back and refused to pay for it! The British do not normally complain they just get on with it, so the staff are not used to that. The Landlord came to see me and asked what was wrong and I quite loudly said to him "when was the last time you were served chicken which is pink in the middle and stone cold, and especially at this price!" He went very silent and asked if I wished for another one, which of course I declined. I have informed the health people about this as serving almost raw chicken is not good for ones health!
Love as always.
Neil.
p.s. now this is an oven and a BBQ next to it!

People in pubs are going to be afraid to see you coming. Now that our iris club has had its yearly auction, we can get back to our own gardens which need attention. Neither of us work in the 90° temp.

Dear Lucy, I do not go out much at all! This Gastro pub was advertised and as it is not far from me so I thought I would try it, and I was disgusted with it. You cannot serve raw chicken as it is dangerous to eat. I do have a right to complain about raw food or poor service, and this had both! Would you eat it?
The famous Yacht pub in Greenwich has gone bankrupt because of the Olympic games. This beautiful and old pub was totally cut off because of the Equestrian events, and it could not survive with no customers. Our sports minister just said about this "well they have had long enough to save up to keep themselves going, in case this happened!" He has now been sacked for his comments!
I am sorry about the problems in the US as it has been on our news about it, but it will soon be Christmas and cold, so that will give everyone something to moan about as well.
Regards.
Neil.

In France and many other countries in Europe they have what is called the "Rage." If they are served bad food they complain most bitterly about it, and indeed word gets around quickly!
The British with their stiff upper lip do not complain about paying for rubbish food, we just eat it and then say to each other "I will not go back there again."
It is about time we put our foot down and hard on these places that are ripping the public off.
I am sure if you bought a new truck Linda and it broke down within a mile, you would have something to say to them. Food is not cheap anymore and to some of us is a luxury, a treat and something to look forward to, surely it is not much to ask at the prices they charge for a bit of chicken to be cooked correctly!
Linda, how much wine can we get in the back of your new truck? Rolling on the floor laughing
Love.
Neil.
p.s. Real food!
