Sorry about your headaches Neil. Mine are finally getting better. Now I'm hsaving trouble breathing and my heart is beating to slow and skipping. I'm on two different breathing meds inhaled twice a day. It helps quite a bit, but needs to help quite a bit more! ![]() Audrey, in hot Misouri, America |

Dear everyone, i am looking forward to Chelsea very much now my headaches are gone. Yesterday the weather was awful and i feared the weather for Chelsea would stay awful like it has been with what seems like forever, However today it is hot and sunny, which is lovely but is not perfect for Chelsea. Last year it was boiling hot and the alcohol consumption was so great by the 125,000 people there on the Thursday, it almost matched Cherie's on a Friday night! ![]() ![]() ![]() My new neighbour who seems very nice has a gorgeous silver tabby kitten she though she had lost. She knocked on my door to ask if she could look around the garden for it . So with a torch, flashlight for you non English speakers, we searched for it to no avail. Upon telling me she had seen it playing with a nice black and white cat she assumed was one of ours, it was Oliver our young male she had seen her female kitten with, so I invited the lady in and it was as I had I suspected Oliver and I was correct! Oliver has a habit of making friends with other cats and bringing them in for lunch or dinner. When we looked there was Oliver and this stunning looking kitten (Katie) that looks like Phoenix but in different silvers fast asleep, cuddled up on the computer chair together! We both burst out laughing as i did explain about Oliver's habits with other cats. Luckily she has had cats and knows about this, and now Oliver goes to visit Katie for lunch and then they come here. Phoenix tolerates her to a point in the house, but if she comes too near me, Phoenix will quickly show her who is boss, I will attempt to get a photo of them! ![]() ![]() Neil |

Good on Oliver, I bet Katie looked so sweet in your chair. Tilly brings her friend in the house, or they will sit together at the top of the garden. |

Dear all, just recovering from Chelsea! Whoever decided to allow the Olympic games in London should be shot. Every person who works or lives near London has suffered with it and it keeps getting worse as the time get nearer. Everyone has had to pay thousands out of their own money for these games, that we do not want at all, as the only people making money out of all of this are lords and politicians. Yesterday I went to the train station to go to Chelsea, the trains had been diverted and delayed due to work for the 2012 Olympic games. The roads are closed, bridges being widened, trees cut down all for two weeks and we are sick of it. Coming home i got on the right train and then it was diverted to Dover which is the ferry port to France! Somebody pulled the emergency cord (Alarm) further down the line as a lady had fainted in in the intense heat of a hot evening and a crowded train. Everyone got off the train as they did not want to go to Dover in the first place and we were dying for the toilets that were closed when we found them! eventually a lot of angry and tired people got home some two hours later! It is HM Queens Diamond Jubilee on June 4th & 5th and the Uk is in a patriotic mood, one poster of her Majesty and thousands of the Olympics, I am not amused. Chelsea was for the Queens Jubilee and did the nation and Her Majesty proud Some of many pictures i will put on when i have sorted through them. These are for Lucy as the banner is the official Chelsea theme for this year, although the heat got to the public and the plants! ![]() ![]() Neil. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I hope the British Iris society had good plants around. I have several good friends there including 2 from Maidstone. thanks Neil. |

Beautiful shots Neil! Sorry you got stranded, and shuffled off in the wrong direction! Hope you had a cold one when you got home? |

Very pretty, Neil. The Olympics should be held at the same place every year so there is not this craziness. It's not necessary to move it every year. Have one dedicated spot for summer and another for winter. THERE!!!! It must be a total zoo there. So sorry. (Of course it's easy for me to say for I don't care for sports except the horses.) Keep a stiff upper lip, Neil and this too shall pass. Hugs, Nancy What would you attempt to do if you knew you would not fail? ~~Dr. Robert Schuller |

Nice hot cup of Yorkshire tea Neil, feet up. Know the feeling, the times coming of from work, we would get so far, and be told the train was not going any further, so had to wait for an other train to come and take us on, after a days work, that is the last thing on need, as well as outings. Glad you had a good day ay Chealsea Flower Show, we have watched it in the evenings, an hour long each, just beautifull. ![]() |

Oh, Neil. It is a beautiful picture. I know you would get some nice pictures. You be careful out there. Charley sends you nuzzles of friendship... |

Hi all... sorry I haven't been here much. So glad to hear that both Neil and Audrey are feeling better! Can't wait to see more pics from Chelsea! Happy belated birthday, Muriel! It had been nice weather here, then yesterday we got huge winds, took out our gazebo, temps down to almost freezing (and I have everything out now!). Luckily, no freeze... Tony and I are heading out to see if we can save the gazebo. Happy Memorial Day to my American friends, and happy weekend to everyone! |
