My husband said your recipe is just about the way he remembers the puddings his professor shared. The professor and his wife were from Scotland. I never even thought about the freezer in the lab before your comment about the girl putting her lunch in the hospital refrigerator. He said it was a large, room-sized freezer in which the researchers at the University of Minnesota stored parts of animals, well wrapped, of course. Come to think of it, there are parts of animals in my freezer right now! Also well wrapped. Rolling on the floor laughing
