Announcing Photo 101's 2nd Photo Contest

By Brenda Essig aka Zanymuse (Zanymuse) on June 20, 2012

Entries start on June 25th and remain open through midnight June 30th.

There will be two categories for entry. 2012-06-20/Zanymuse/95704a

#1 Point and Shoot camera/Phone camera
#2 SLR Cameras

There was a lot of confusion over which cameras were what. So the groups have been combined.

The subject for this contest is YELLOW or ORANGE.
This can be anything yellow or orange but it needs to be the primary/predominant color in the image.

Cropping is allowed and encouraged to achieve this.
Resizing and cropping are the only editing allowed.

Each contestant may submit up to four pictures. You may edit your entries during the week to exchange one for another at anytime during the entries schedule.

Please number your entries, but do not add captions or comments, as they are distracting when viewing multiple images.

There will be a separate thread for discussions and chatting about the entries.

Winners will be announced a few days after the contest ends to allow time for the judge/judges to make their decisions.

Get out those cameras and start shooting. Choose your best four images and crop them if needed so you will have a head start on the contest.

Get Ready!
Get Set!
On the 25th it will be a GO!
