This forum is a continuation of Sharon's Blue Garden's cubit. We hope all her friends will join us in continuing the friendly chat. Sharon was proud of the fact that we had the best and most interesting discussions, full of various topics and interests as well as some personal trials and triumphs.
It's bittersweet, but Sharon would want us to move on. I love the banner. I miss her so much, but it's good to be able to see her and Sunshine. I think we'll all shed a few tears as we re-group. Mine are already starting.
This banner is beautiful! I have to admit to typing through tears. You have made me very happy, because every click to a new page or post allows me to continue seeing Sharon's loving smile and Sunshine's devotion to her best friend.
Arlene and Vic, thank you. This is truly a beautiful tribute to a one-of-a-kind lady. Sharon would be humbled and proud.
Much love to you for this, and to those who come here.
Good morning! Sharon is smiling, she loved that picture, and Sunshine is smiling and giving Sharon a kiss for us!
Welcome here to our new home everyone. I shall go now and send cmails to all others who have posted to BG, inviting them to join us.
Take a look around and see if it feels familiar. Vic did a great job!
I'll be trying to change the banner seasonally, but Sharon and Sunshine will always stay with us. If you have seasonal photos you want to share, let me know and if I can work with them I will.
We didn't have many come to our door. Some came really early then David had to leave for choir practice so we left the light off and I retreated to the bedroom. But, my mistake was buying the candy. Now I have a big bowl of chocolates. Lucy was smart getting chips and pretzels!
Oh what a mess Larry, but I am glad you could laugh about it, after washing it all off. I wish we could have seen you with your shirt and glasses. Good thing you didn't get any in your mouth, but it looks close. I'm glad you didn't get hurt too. So appropriate for Halloween night!
Thank you for the invitation here. What a beautiful gesture for our friend Sharon. I'm still in a bit of denial. So hard to accept that she's gone. But, of course, she will never be forgotten. Such a special woman and a joy to have known her. Love you always, Sharon.

Good morning. We have light rain, 41 degrees, and no wind.
The new banner is beautiful and I am so glad that you were able to include the Sharon/Sunshine photo. Cleverly done since those were not originally together. Sharon would be pleased with it and she would be proud of both of you! I don't have time to check on everything this morning because I have guests and also need to get to the co-op on time. It's a granola, reheated biscuits and grab what you can for breakfast morning!
Carole, thanks for the pretty fall photo. I hope you'll stay with us. We all feel the need to keep our group together.
Yesterday I did flower bed cleaning and compost spreading. Made good progress but still have compost in the truck when I was out of daylight and energy.
Good to see people drifting over here. We'll keep Sharon's memory alive. Lots of lessons from Sharon and things to share.
Mid 80s here again today. Maybe it's a good day to wash all those flower pots I have been throwing in a heap, hoping they would wash themselves. At the very least, I need to get some work outside done now that we're up and running here.

Sharon is only as far away as a thought, a shadow from a big white fluffy cloud drifting just out of sight on the other side of the mountain, discernible only if you look for it. Her presence is tangible, just barely, her energy still real, her joy of life still infectious. She is here, as she is everywhere, smiling, painting fall colors for all to see, always ready to bring the beauty of artistry alive, in words, thoughts and sight. Not so much time to move on as time to move forward, as we all must. So let's have fun celebrating her joy of life and all that goes with it, as I am certain she still is.
Some summer photos from not too long ago to help us on our journey.
