I'm here and "watching" this thread... is there a link from the Blue Garden thread to this one yet? Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! Thank you, Sally & Chris & Sharon. |

right... and thanks for putting in the link going the other way, too! Don't want to leave anybody behind. Joyanna and I both came down with something mid-day Tuesday... getting better, but I'm not liking how often she has been having headaches and tummyaches. I know there are a lot of possible causes from allergies to constipation, but I want to make sure there's not something more we need to check or something we could be doing to help, so I'm making an appointment with our family doctor. Keeping all our friends in my thoughts and prayers, especially Andi as she moves to a new home that I hope is all she hopes & needs it to be, Oma as she recovers so her body feels as spunky as her spirit. Praying for healing & strength & grace for all of use facing various challenges, including finding ourselves nursing a loved one. Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! Thank you, Sally & Chris & Sharon. |

I am here. Probably not any more night owls around here this time of night however. Hope you all have a great day on this fourth of November. Please join me at the following Websites: Friendship Corner ~ The Gathering Place ~ Dogs - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know |

Praying Joyanna will feel better soon. It's so worrisome when our children are sick. Even when they are in their 40's like mine are. Hey there Elena - Larry is a night owl. You might run across him in the middle of the night one of these days...err..nights ![]() NATIONAL GARDENING ASSOCIATION Purslane & Portulaca ~ Garden Art |

Thanks for popping in so we don't have to worry about you Elana! Hope everyone else is feeling better too. |

Don't ever worry about me Arlene. I come and go spasmotically online. To make it even worse, I mostly read and don't post much. Old habits are hard to change but I am trying to be more interactive. Just hope you guys don't worry when you don't see me posting much. ![]() Yeah Vic, I have run into Larry from time to time posting late in the night or would that be early in the morning? It is a gorgeous day here so we are getting much needed yard work done today and probably tomorrow also if we don't get interrupted as we often do. Howdy, Folks... All the posters above, I'll be danged but I remember every one of you from the good ol' days (or lets not count the years and just call them "a couple years ago.") Vic let me know about the new Sharon's Friends cubit. It took me a while to get in but after trying numerous old passwords I found success. Altho I'm seldom on Internet sites (no home internet access these days) I sure had a strong urge and desire to pop in and say howdy, commiserate with others over the loss of "Sharon-on-Earth", and to, to, ...well, most likely just say howdy and enjoy ya'lls words and pics from time to time! It sure takes 'forever!' to type with only 2 thumbs using a Fancy Phone (cell phone to those of you who actually like them.) Trust me, you're safe, I will definitely not get long-winded with the few posts I may make! ;>) Ellen, great to see you. Hope that hubby of yours is keeping you in line, and vice-versa. Tell him Shoe says hey! Critter and Arlene, nice to see yall are doing well (except for the tummy trubbles and allergies you and Joyanna are going thru, Jill) And howdy Vic. Will email later. My typing thumbs are tired now! Hugs. Shoe |

Hello, Shoe. Good to see a fellow North Carolinian here, along with Vic! I think that if ever a mortal heard the voice of God it would be in a garden at the cool of the day. ~F. Frankfort Moore, A Garden of Peace |

Shoe, I'm happy to see you here too! Since Sharon died I have been reading all the Cmails back and forth between us and your name came up a couple of times. It got me to wondering how the heck you are. For one thing, Sharon really wanted to do a Spotlight on you. The Spotlight cubit is still here, but largely inactive (interview-wise). So if you ever change your mind, just say the word and I'll be at your service. Anyway, please at least take a look at some of our interviews. They are fun to read. http://cubits.org/WhosWhoSpotlight/ |

My gosh, Shoe, what a surprise seeing you appear here. It has been a long time since I have "seen hide nor hair" of you my friend. I had recently asked Vic how you were doing. I knew that she would know and I just wanted to know if your were or weren't fit as a fiddle these days. Thankfully she said you were fine and that she would tell you I had asked about you. I hope you will keep dropping by to see us whenever you can. I feel sure you know that you can go to a public library and use the computer there. it would be much easier to type there for sure. I have 2 friends who do that all the time. Have you ever changed your email address? I still have the old one and have wondered if it was still good. Take care and come back here a bunch if you have the time. ![]() Please join me at the following Websites: Friendship Corner ~ The Gathering Place ~ Dogs - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know |

What a surprise, Shoe! I understand about trying to type on the phone, ugh! But don't be a stranger. |

Shoeless Shoe! How nice to see you again!! I hope you'll drop in now and then, and I hope that the nows and thens are pretty close together. Every time there is a storm hitting NC I wonder about your greenhouse! You're way ahead of me, I still have a dumb phone! No internet at home? You're going backward! Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. More ramblings at http://thegatheringplacehome.myfastforum.org/forum54.php |

Hi Shoe, so nice to see you posting here, would love it if you would drop in more often, especially with one of your great tales. ![]() |

Well, I'll be dogged! I just thumb typed personal greetings back to each of ya'll and somehow deleted it all. I think I should stick with garden tools and frying pans, things I have no trouble operating! *grin Fear not, one day I'll once again be back to ten-finger speed typing on a full keyboard and have no use for a cellphone except for making phone calls. Great to see all ya'll still hanging out together. Glad to see ya'll are doing so well. Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll have to try posting again more in-depth and not delete it next time. All for now, I think my thumbs are getting split ends (like my hair) so maybe I should go soak them in conditioner and try again later, eh? Thought For The Day: Run slowly from a footless pig; it builds self confidence in both of you. (Maybe more about that another time. ;>) |

Good Morning Shoe! I have issues with thumbs and fingers on those "smarter than me" phones too. Yes, we do miss your stories - footless pigs and all ![]() NATIONAL GARDENING ASSOCIATION Purslane & Portulaca ~ Garden Art |

What a joy to see you posting again Shoe. Footless pig huh? It is good to see that you haven't changed one little iota. Mornin' all. Baby, it's cold outside. Well, compared to what it will be soon, guess it isn't too cold but I wish I could have the old Warm Morning stove we used to have in the living room when I was growing up. You could at least warm up by standing in front of it and gradually turning around a little at the time to warm the rest of you.....kind of like browning a piece of toast in the skillet. We didn't heat the house all night and when Mama rejuvinated the coal stove coals early in the morning only then did the house begin to warm.... It could really get cold in our beds but it is a wonder we didn't smother all burrowed down in the old feather bed with the covers piled high over our bodies....Well, enough of this talk cause it is making me even colder. Have a great day everyone...Love you all Please join me at the following Websites: Friendship Corner ~ The Gathering Place ~ Dogs - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know |
