Karen, I have a 2" notebook I store downloads, tips, trick, patterns, etc.,
in in sheet protectors. Thanks for the yardage chart. I haven't made a log
cabin yet, but have seen some variations I'd like to try.

Learned a couple things today....For Free Standing Lace (FSL) embroidery. I had much better results by using a different water soluable stabilizer (WSS). The first one I had was like plastic and tended to tear early in the embroidery process. I tried some that is more like interfacing but still washes away and it's wonderful. My ornaments are so much nicer. It's called Brothread Wash away White 1.5 oz. Ordered from Amazon. I also made them one size bigger, still a good size for the tree but again nicer looking. I made 4 and once I started the machine, they ran perfectly until done. Tells me I can start one and work on my other projects at the same time.
Karen, what was the brand of the first WSS you used that was not as good?
I'm using OESD and it seems to work well. I'm making note of what you
ordered because I really would like to do some angels and butterflies.

Sorry Angie, it came with the machine and was a partial roll. It did work fine for the bath hoodies for the kids. I just didn't like it much for the ornaments. There are so many brands out there, it's just confusing. I guess all you can do is try it and see how it works. I actually liked it at first until I used the woven and saw the difference.
