I bought a two pack of San Disk each 16 GB so I think they will be OK. My machine BTW is Bernina Artista 730. I should be getting it towards the end of the week.
Karen, before I forget it yet again, there is an event in Raleigh in August
called the Sewing and Quilting Expo and it travels all over the country.
Here's the link: http://www.sewingexpo.com/Events/Raleigh,NC.aspx
I don't see one listed for TN in the events, but you might want to check it
out and get on their mailing list. A friend and I are going to this one in
August, probably not for the entire thing, but at least a day or so, and if you're
up for some travel, you're welcome to join us.
Arlene, you, too!!!

Presented a quilt today to Gary "Sparky" Neumeier. He's the glass blower at the Artisan Village in Gatlinburg. We always make sure to visit with him when we are in the area, he's so fun. We talked to his wife and he had not gotten a QOV so today was the day. He was so moved he had tears. We got many hugs and he gave us each an ornament.
The quilt is just gorgeous, Karen, and so is the ornament you posted on the
other forum. Next time we are in the area, we'll try to drop in and visit. Lucky
you and Lucky Gary!

Karen, I have your CD copied and ready to mail. Will let you know when it gets
to the PO. I have to make a trip to the CH this week and will take care of it
then.

Angie, it's working great. I just had to stumble over the place that said 730's (my machine) are notoriously fussy (their words) about USB stick size and type. These models prefer a stick no larger than 256mb. Of course they also recommended an older Bernina stick but I'm finding cheap ones that work just fine. I put just one design on a stick and it works great. Needless to say I ordered a bunch from Amazon.
Karen, you're probably as happy about that stumbling as David was when they finally figured out it was a piece of plastic in his lawn tractor gas tank!
Well my friend in MI saved my butt and did a beautiful quilting on the baby quilt for me. Mama had asked for bears and bees and woodsy. She is also raising 4 baby possums so I stuck one in there. My friend wrote baby's name in the trim just below the center bear and above the possum. It will be a big surprise for mom. Arthur Thomas. I guess Arthur has a meaning of bear, and my hubby's middle name is Thomas. His brother's name was also Arthur which our granddaughter didn't know as he died long before she was born. I just need to add the binding and it's all set.
Karen, it's lovely and such a sweet gift for your friend and the baby.
I love the theme. It's a blessing to have such helpful and talented
friends to bail us out of tough situations!
