|Mowed the lawn, tidied up around the fruit trees and the corners in the orchard enclosure, and now have a big wheelbarrow full of clippings. I think they will go on the grape row before they begin to stink! I put salvaged mainlines out in the sun to become more cooperative and will try to get the system hooked up later today or this evening. Meanwhile, this morning I decided that the garlic, onions and peas needed a drink, so I watered them with the hand held sprinkler. Watered the loganberries/Boysenberries? as well. Looked at the blueberry bushes and found that one has a lot of blooms so it is too late to move it this spring... decided to use the 3 old tomato cages made from field fence and wrap some old sheets around the outside, then fasten them with clothespins. Blueberries and desert sun do not play well together. Harvested a bucket full of rhubarb, took it to the co-op and sold it, then we went to a local cafe and treated ourselves. Now I need to get a sprinkler going in the perennial bed and find a shady place to pull weeds.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
