Be yourself, you can be no one else
Today I weeded the onion and pea row. It's about 70 ft long with 4 rows of onions and the peas down at the end in a wide band, planted at random, no rows there. It was hands and knees all the way, picking out some big weeds and some tiny ones. Then I turned on the drip lines and they all got a drink while we had a few light showers and thunder was rumbling in the distance. Tonight after dinner I planted the barrels by the back gate. I replaced the top 8 or 9 inches of soil, then started stuffing in the plants. I used up all of the leftovers! They each have a couple of clumps of either pink or white dianthus that survived the winter, two coral geraniums, half a dozen pink snapdragons, and 3 white bacopa that should drape over the edge. By the time I finished I could barely see. Wishing I had a hot tub!

A very small cottontail bunny is hopping around, sampling, hiding. Cute and so far no problem.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
