Too many cats!!
oh deary oh deary oh deary oh deary.

It's officially chick season @ the feed stores.

This will be the first time in 10 years that I will NOT be getting my chicks from the Elizabeth Country Corners or Kiowa Country Corners. That has been a time-honored tradition for me and for hundreds of other people. The two stores were owned by a lady who wanted to retire to Florida & put them up for sale... 1 for $800K and the other for a whopping $1.45Mil! Needless to say, they're both still up for sale almost a year later. Definitely not worth that price. So sad. There was NEVER a time @ either store where they weren't busy as all get out... but there's bad internet and Elbert County is a poor county with not many amenities to attract potential buyers or businessmen to invest into something like that. Oh well.

Was planning on going to Murdoch's to look at chicks last night, but when I got home, it was snowing pretty hard & only like 11degs... didn't want to put babies into that kind of stress so will be doing that this afternoon probably. I don't know if I'll be actually getting any this year...

Oh what am I saying. Of COURSE I'll be getting chicks. Just dunno what kinds or how many. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
