Too many cats!!
Mary - They're all the same age. That's what's sad.

I put some of my girls on Craigslist to sell. I have way too many birds. I managed to sell 7 birds in 2 days for $20/ea, so pretty happy about that. I had 1 bird left in one coop that I wasn't planning on selling just quite yet, so I put her & the last meat bird together in my intro coop in the main chicken area. I'll have them in that coop for a few days before I go & let everyone mingle. I wanted to get my mini dinos out of the tiny coop they were in into the coop I had just cleaned, so did that this morning. Moving them over was the easiest thing I'd done ever as far as chickens. Those mini dinos are so used to the concept that humans = food that they clamor around when I'm out there squeeking like they're starving half to death. At night, I always take up their food & water.. they don't eat or drink at night, so no sense in feeding the mice. They didn't have any food in their coop and so when I picked up their feeder, they were like OMG OMG OMG FOOD!!! I made sure that their new coop had a full waterer & an extra feeder full in it, and then opened up their coop door. Out they poured! I started making the kissy noises & walking towards the cleaned coop ("pink coop") with a herd of itties right behind me Pied Piper style. Put in their feeder that they were used to and wah-la! All itties now in their new coop! And I didn't have to chase anyone around!!
Never be afraid of a scar. It just means that you were stronger than something that tried to hurt you.
