|What's growing? Well, I have started two jars of sprouted grains on my kitchen counter. One is alfalfa and the other is wheat. They started waking up and sprouting roots after about 24 hours and now they have hints of green as well. Alfalfa sprouts are great in salads and on sandwiches, the wheat sprouts might go in bread or pancakes. Sprouted grains are by far more nutritious than unsprouted ones. And.... it is fun to watch them grow.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
