Well my friend in MI saved my butt and did a beautiful quilting on the baby quilt for me. Mama had asked for bears and bees and woodsy. She is also raising 4 baby possums so I stuck one in there. My friend wrote baby's name in the trim just below the center bear and above the possum. It will be a big surprise for mom. Arthur Thomas. I guess Arthur has a meaning of bear, and my hubby's middle name is Thomas. His brother's name was also Arthur which our granddaughter didn't know as he died long before she was born. I just need to add the binding and it's all set. |
