The other day, my husband woke up, looked out the window and said..."Oh no, not more snow."

And he immediately took it back, saying he has no business complaining of a couple inches of snow, in light of what the Japanese people were waking up to.

Yes, let's definitely keep those poor people in our prayers!

Becky -
You are so wonderful to be pointing us to ways in which we can help our friends in Japan. I'm hating the footage I see on TV. So sad. So sad.

One woman bought over $200 worth of socks! Many of the citizens of japan that have been dislocated since the devastation are ordinary folks like us. Their spirit is amazing and the unity they are experiencing in Japan is so touching. They are all helping one another, living together in homes that are still viable, no looting...the stories I am reading go on and on.

I know.
Just reading Jon's posts have been amazing!
And, it's still winter there - just like it is at my house. They are all so cold!

I'm praying for an early spring for them...for no more additional earthquakes, no more critical problems in those nuclear plants! They already have way too much to bear.

Great prayer, Linda.... I bought baby and kids socks today and will send them tomorrow. I know that they need $$ too which I did send already through World Vision but helping with something tangible makes me feel happy an useful.

This is an incredible video, showing the way strangers in Japan help one another.
