I found a great article years ago by Alexei Kondratiev from the IMBAS website (www.imbas.org) regarding the Celtic Values of:

Honor
Loyalty
Hospitality
Honesty
Justice
Courage

This article's details and many other wonderful bits of information can be found at http://www.imbas.org/imbas/index.html

It is a very good article. I was on e-mail groups where Alexei was a member and I learned so much from him through the years. In fact, he posted to one of those groups just hours before he passed away in May. He was an amazing man and I sorely miss his posts.

Alexei was a member of several Yahoo groups. Yahoo is currently changing their format over to a new Facebook-like format. I've seen what the new format does to the posts in the archives. It eliminates quoted material if that material is in . Alexei used this form of quoting often so the material he was responding to will be erased in many of his posts. Also, Yahoo is getting rid of message numbers in the archives so people who use them to refer people to posts will no longer be able to do that. The new format makes it very hard to locate and reference posts in the archives of their groups. This is such a huge loss.

I loved Alexei's book "The Apple Branch" and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in following a Celtic path. He was working on another book when he passed away but I don't know how much of it he had finished. He was going to include his views on a Cernunnos/Manannan connection and I was looking forward to reading it. I also like the articles that he's written. My favorite is the article that he wrote about Lugus:

Alexei spent years writing a Celtic Lore Keepers Course. Tearlach (owner of the Yahoo group Celtic Nation and the website Deioukara) is now in charge of the course. I haven't heard when it will be offered but when it is, I want to sign up.
