|This is just an odd note on the solstice: every year, and this has gone on for as long as we've had Amish neighbors, the horses in the neighborhood neigh (ok, sorry) through the night on Mid Summer's Eve (the hound dogs bark, too, for that matter, but that isn't unusual). I have no explanation, but I've taken note of it several times, and it happened again last night.
