Every once in a while weed seeds get buried deep inside a clump of semps and can’t be pulled out. I’ve found the best solution for this is to get a small paper or plastic cup, or glass jar, and put a little liquid weed killer in it. Then I take SMALL (very small!) paintbrush and carefully brush the weed killer on the leaves of the weeds, being extremely careful to use a small amount of liquid so it doesn’t drip on your semps! It might take a couple of applications but eventually you’ll get rid of it.
