These delicious crab puffs are easy to make and will certainly go fast!

CRAB PUFFS

FILLING:

4 OZ. CREAM CHEESE, SOFTENED
2 TBSP. MINCED GREEN ONION
2 TSP. MINCED GINGER
2 TSP. OYSTER-FLAVORED SAUCE
1 TSP. SESAME OIL
1/8 TSP. GROUND PEPPER
1/2 LB. CRABMEAT, COOKED & FLAKED


12 SPRING ROLLS OR 24 WONTON WRAPPERS

1 EGG WHITE, LIGHTLY BEATEN
CANOLA OIL

PLACE CREAM CHEESE, GREEN ONION, GINGER, OYSTER-FLAVORED SAUCE SESAME OIL AND PEPPER IN A MEDIUM BOWL. MIX WELL. STIR IN CRABMEAT.

TO MAKE EACH PUFF:

PLACE A ROUNDED TSP. FILLING IN EACH WONTON WRAPPER AND FOLD AS IF A WONTON. USE EGG WHITE TO SEAL AND PINCH. . PLACE FILLED PUFFS IN A BAKING PAN AND COVER WITH A DAMP TOWEL.
HEAT CANOLA OIL IN A DEEP FRYER AND DEEP-FRY PUFFS, A FEW AT A TIME, UNTIL GOLDEN-BROWN, APPROX. 1 MINUTE. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS.
