Nice kick, great for those of you who like spice! this bread is great with a cream cheese spread, timed to come out about 15 minutes before a Mexican dinner  Jalapeno & Cheddar Bread 3/4 cp water 3 tbsp canola 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tbsp sugar 1/2 cup diced sharp cheddar cheese 4 tbsp chopped fresh jalapeno peppers, diced 1 tbsp red hot peppers, diced 2 1/2 cups bread flour 1 tbsp gluten 2 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast Cook in bread maker as for white or french bread. Add wet ingredients first, dry last, and yeast the very last. Add cheddar and peppers when machine first clicks to knead.  |
