FRIED CHEESE BITES![]() 6 oz. Mozzerella cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes 2 Eggs, beaten 3/4 cup Flour 1 1/2 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs Canola oil (and Deep Fryer) Dip the cheese cubes into the egg, dredge them in flour, dip again into the egg, rolling them around to ensure a good coat. Now Roll them in the breadcrumbs, pressing firmly so that the crumbs stick well. Place the cubes on a sheet of wax paper that has been placed in a jellyroll pan and chill them in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Pour canola oil in Deep Fryer and heat to 375 degrees. Deep fry the cubes a few at a time, being sure not to overcrowd them. Take them out when golden brown, about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Makes about 18 pieces. |
