Cream Cheese Stuffed Loaves

Ingredients:

6 oz pkg sour cream, scalded in saucepan
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp bread machine yeast
1/3 cup warm water
2 medium sized eggs, room temperature
3 1/2 cups bread machine flour
*Filling
*Glaze

combine scalded sour cream, sugar, butter and salt. Mix well, and let cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl; stir in sour cream mixture and eggs.
Gradually add flour (dough will be soft) Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight.

Divide into 4 equal portions. Turn each out onto heavily floured surface and knead 4 or 5 times. Roll each into a 12 x 8 inch rectangle. Spread 1/4 of the filling over each rectangle, leaving a 1/2 inch margin around the edges. Carefully roll up jellyroll style, beginning at long side. Firmly pinch edge and ends to seal. Carefully place rolls, seam side down, on greased baking sheets.
Make 6 equally spaced 'x's' on each loaf. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85 degrees is good) for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 13 to 20 minutes. Spread glaze on loaves while warm.

Filling:

2 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, beatn
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in mixer at medium speed.

Glaze:

2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all in bowl, hand mixing well.
