Pecan Logs![]() Make this recipe: http://cubits.org/ThriftyKitchenCooks/thread/view/41672/ Dipping Caramel and this recipe: http://cubits.org/ThriftyKitchenCooks/thread/view/41676/ Fondant and follow the instructions below: form the cream fondant with 1 tbsp real vanilla extract, into logs about 1 inch by 3 inch. Place logs on waxed paper-lined tray. Freeze overnight. Using a 2-tined fork, dip each frozen fondant log into warm dipping caramel, then into a bed of pecan pieces or halves. Cover the caramel completely with the nuts, , pressing gently so the nuts adhere to caramel. Place log on waxed paper to cool. When candies are cold, cover tightly with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator or other cool area.
