I used to raise the new Zealand whites as an FFA project when I was a kid. But they were not pets. My grandfather made me a rabbit hutch, and we watched them have babies, and raise them. But this sure is different, with me being the mommy. it's a ton of work, it takes an extra hour out of each of our days to feed them twice. They squirm so much, spit out bottle, and their ever growing two front teeth always get in the way of 'the nipple', lol.
Sorry to hear bunny already gone. So sad some animals don't get nice long lives. But with the rabbits reproductive cycle so tight, I guess for them it's for the best.
