Well! Finally found you. Without Randy I wouldn't even have a garden. All be it rather ratty looking right now. Will be several more weeks before I know what, if anything, has survived this horrendous winter. Still expecting below freezing temps next week. All of my favorite of favorites here in one place. YAY!

I know what you mean Lou. I'm doing the same as far as waiting to see what survived. I did noticed the other day that my powderpuff had little green sprouts so I think it will make it Hurray! It is one of my favorite plants.

Hi Randy! Great to see you here. I was hoping to see your Jungle Heights cubit up and running, but see it's not public yet. I'm bookmarking your Cubit so I can keep an "eyeball" on you! I hope your beautiful cubit garden thrives!!! Mine is in tatters as I type. I'm sure it will all come back, but I'm leaving it for the time being to work as mulch. When I know we're past the point of possible freeze, I'll whack it down and watch it come back with a smile on my face. In the meantime, I avoid the back yard every chance I get!

Waybigo hugs!
Janet

Hi Janet

Randy and I have already been commiserating on the state of our gardens after the freeze. I too am waiting for spring and the threat of another freeze before I start whacking. I hate going out in the yard cause everything looks so pitiful.

I've also been wondering when Randy will get his Jungle Heights cubit up and going. I'm keeping my eye out for him to do so.

Hope all is well,

Patty

Thanks Janet! I know the garden will be okay in time, it just looks so pitiful this year. We needed a mild winter not a below 30 degree winter. I figure it is time to downsize; so many of my plants were getting rather large in just a one or two year time span. Now I'll cut em way back and start over. I just hope most of em come back.

I wonder where RJ is. I sent him a dmail a couple of days ago i think and haven't heard back. Wonder if he's off having fun somewhere without us. If you are, RJ, shame on you!!!!

I'm in the same "boat" Patty on things getting rather large. My back yard was pretty self sufficient last year and I liked it that way. Hurray!

I'm hoping to do more herbs and coleus this year. My cooking experiments have been lots of fun and I look forward to learning more about herbs.

Randy, you would cry if you could see my yard. Things broken to the ground and frozen black everywhere. Still lots of snow on the ground. In the 20's every single night. Took down major trees everywhere. Looks like a tornado.

Sorry you have been sick. Several members of my family are fighting the same thing. I had pneumonia last April so maybe I'll miss it this time.
