Please post photos of named Tulips only in this thread. We have another thread http://cubits.org/Tulipa/thread/view/52084/ for photos of those Tulips that are not identified.

Thank you for your help

It is not obvious to synchronise all the time Kathy but you were not too far as I put next to this tulipe Hyacinthoides hispanica.

What a lovely picture the combination of Tulipa 'Flair' and Hyacinthoides hispanica makes in my mind. Do they bloom at the same time Catherine?

Kathy, I just learned last year about pairing blue/purple with orange colors. I can't believe I have gone all these years without realizing that. I never used orange in my gardens until two years ago. So much I was missing out on.

Lily flowering tulips are strong and reliable Bojum.together with a large scale of shades.

Some foliage of tulips planted late in the season. As I put them in a clean spot you can have a good look at the foliage...

Tulipa Whitalii

From the bud to the flower, everything is amazing, all the shades of the tulip and the beautiful stamens, the lazy way of growing, originating from Turkey. A reliable grower

Yes it is very difficult here too as many people prefer the larger hybrids so not many suppliers have species.
