Thank you Lynn. I have a lot of spots would suit them. If I had the opportunity I will buy one and think of you walking in the garden. Think is a good idea.
I am growing penstemon only since last year only Lynn. Last year some were very tall and falling down, which I dont like. I am lucky they are hardy in the place where I put them (sheltered from the wind and the deep frosts) and this year they have a better way to grow. I like them, i know that so many exists but will stick to these ones. I have to learn then how to keep them healthy and beautiful, cut them back for example which I did not do as I should. They have nice shades.
This one below is hardy and can be left outside during the winter, no matter how many frost or how much cold. A friend gave it to me but I do not have the slightest idea of what it is. Anyone could help me to ID it? Thanks for your help..
Weird Lynn. Your Ficus Canica seems to be very early. I will have a look to my Ficus but I think that the fruits are bigger on yours. You must have quite a large garden to have so many plants Lynn.
Thank you for showing so many different species I sometimes never heard of them.
Blueberries, concord grapes and figs. Yummm.
The fig tree is up against the south side of a building out back, so it gathers heat during the day and holds some of the heat through the night.
We have just under 1/2 acre of land ( 0.202 342 821 12 hectare), not much. We used to have 16.187 425 69 hectare.
Thank you Lynn. Sorry for not answering sooner. Hope everything is going well in your garden. Half an acre is quite a lot, event is about 17 hectares is better. When land available to work shrinks that obliges us to think different. As far as I am concerned I think it always hard for me to get limits to plant; lLittle plants become clumps, space is missing and we hve to make up decisions. This year I decided to divide many plants (irises, hemerocllis, and to give awy but in an exchange frame.
