Clusiana, I'm sure you've heard this often, but your talent with a camera is extraordinaire! Thank you for sharing. Also, the cathedral? in the background of some of your photographs is beautiful. Evan |

I found my way Catherine, thank you for the link. I see you now have daylilies blooming. How sunny and cheerful they are. I agree with what Evan said about your photography. : ) Hi Evan |

Thank you Lynn The previous daylily and the earlier is Corky, a beautiful one, the second one to bloom is Stella de Oro, a little bright and smal daylily, now I have some species blooming, a huge huge clump almost sixty years old of Hemerocallis fulva ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Come along and take a walk in a French garden~~Click here for Species Tulips and other bulbs. Catherine your garden wall is so beautiful. What a lovely garden you have. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please excuse the weeds, I am still trying to get caught up on the weeding. Three days in a row of sunshine, then the rain returns. : ( |

Hello Lynn, Thank you for the compliment but yours is beatuiful too. I love this Rheum 'Ac of hearts' in particular. and all the other ones. Tall blue Lupoinus. Here I had some very older ones who died after I tried to clean the bed. I think that they do not like at all to have the roots hurt. In fact this plant is strong and fragile at the same time. The Cissus have beautiful fllowers and the Hueuchera very 'light' flowers. Weeds are everywhere here now and growing in my back. Your garden is neat Lynn. I will have a look for the irises. May be I will find them around. For how long did you have them please? Thank you for posting. Come along and take a walk in a French garden~~Click here for Species Tulips and other bulbs. I have had the iris about 6 or 7 years. They came from my mother, she loved them. I have not had lupin for a number of years, so wondering if the birds dropped seed, or if the seed was from the plant that used to be there? The humming birds love the Rheum flowers. : ) |

Thank you Lynn. How lucky you are to have birds making so beautiful seedlings! Here we have thunderstorm (at las as it was too dry, not a drop of water for six months) but many internet cuts also... I do understand the humminhbirds. We do not have them here. Too bad Come along and take a walk in a French garden~~Click here for Species Tulips and other bulbs. I took more photos today and will post them in the next day or two. : ) |

Great. Thank you Lyn. As I told you here weather is not good to take pictures. I think your iris is looking much like 'Haut les voiles' a 2000 iris http://www.iris-cayeux.com/catalogue?ref=hautlesvoiles&lang=... I believe it is Edith Wolford, as my mother had it for some years before I got a start from her. It originally came from Schreinder's Iris Gardens. http://www.schreinersgardens.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PR... Since I don't have any documentation it is just a guess. : ) |
Seems you are right but I cannot tell for sure. Beautiful irises Lynn. Here is another picture of Edith Woolford http://www.iris-cayeux.com/catalogue?ref=edithwolford&lang=F... Yes that does look like the same Iris. If given a little light shade mine is darker colored like the photo in your above link. |
