Lynn, I Think that all the earlier species are quite tiny but of course not all of them, including species, are not tiny. Some are quite tall and somehting very funny is sometimes happening with the tiny ones becoming very tall. I recently spoke with the specialist of tulips which lives in France (Laurent Lieser) and he told me that somebody in Russia reported that some 'tiny' tulips were growing very tall. That happens sometmes when the water table is very high, which is the case in my garden. C. Come along and take a walk in a French garden~~Click here for Species Tulips and other bulbs.
