Raised beds is a good thing as they will have a good drainage. If you wish very tiny tulips I would recommend the ones already posted which are Tulipa neustruevae, yellow, cute, nice and strong species, Tulipa polychroma, a white, very eye catching and very nice scented species tulip,Tulipa cretica, a very delicate one and all the Kaufmanniana hybrids, tulips being called 'waterlily tulips, which means that they are coming most of the time with a short stem; Then all depends on the sort of combo you are thinking of. In y opinion some of them can be really great with the plants you have. I will post some which are not in bloom yet to give you a better idea.
