Hi, My granddaughter Jolie and I baked some fresh bread and hope you will enjoy a slice slathered with butter. She and I have been cooking together for a few weeks. She loves to make muffins, so I'm sure you'll find plenty of those around to snack on. We make blueberry, apple cinnamon and of course, chocolate! Oh, and if anyone wants the recipe for the bread, just let me know. Be sure to check out the Bread Basket I'm so excited about Cubits opening to the public soon. I put a fresh coat of paint on the walls in here and I really like the color! I hope everyone enjoys their time here. This place has grown incredibly in the past 2 weeks since it opened up. I'm in awe of the work that Dave and Trish have put into this place. They must never sleep! I'm off to bed now! See you all tomorrow! Janet |

Helllllllllllllooooo!!!! Is there anybody out there????? I just took another loaf of bread from the oven. Jolie and I baked it today. This one has pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, slivered almonds and cranberries in it. I just tried it out and it is awesome! I'm getting pretty good at this. If someone doesn't come along and help me eat it, I'll never fir through the door! Janet |

Phyl, You guys have taught me so much about making bread over there. I've really been enjoying the conversations and the recipes. But mostly, I've appreciated the encouragement to do something I've always wanted to do. I was such a dismal failure at it that I never thought I'd have such beautiful bread to grace my table with. Heck, I'm even sharing it here thanks to you all!!! What blue birds? I had to go back up there to look because I don't ever remember creating any blue birds. Are you referring to the golfing couple? I hadn't thought about them having bird faces. HAHAHA They do look rather birdish. http://www.uniquetreasures.phanfare.com/2147844_2310332#imag... Shoot I can't post a picture here because I'm on the laptop. But the link above has plenty of photos of them. |

To be honest, I didn't see any difference. I haven't checked the control panel yet to see if there are new folks who've joined up here. I did look this morning to get an idea of what was what BEFORE the launch. I've been in and out though and didn't notice any new traffic. Could be lurkers. Who knows at this point. Jolie has been here today and we made the banana nut bread and I made a pot of spaghetti too. She and I have been laying Treasure Hunt. We go into different rooms in the house and I tell her to find things. She looks around until she finds it. She loves that game! I need to take some photos of things and make a Treasure Map with the items on it for her to look at so she will know what she's looking for. We've been playing hidden object games on the computer and she loves them. She's really good, as long as she can see what she's looking for. For almost 4, she's extremely intelligent! What about you? Did you have a bunch of folks coming in to smell that great sourdough you made? By the way, Sour dough bread is my all time favorite for sandwiches. We have Schlotsky's around here and they use SD buns.... toasted! Oh yeah!!! |

Not that I'm aware of. I did have a ?? from someone with no profile. She was from China she said. how do we know? there's a lot of cubits that only members can post. i mean, the owners set it so only members of OUR cubit can post. is yours like that? No, mine are open to visitors and cubit members. There are a few forums that I have set that way though. Mostly here with the Treasure House because I want a little more control over selling things in here. |

By request, I've set up a forum for discussing Art Supply Resources. I'd appreciate if the artists here would take a few moments to post some of the places they recommend for buying art supplies. Thanks, Janet |

Mouthgasm Turtle Cheesecake just came out of the oven. You know you can't resist, so go ahead and get some! It's calorie free! (WOW! Did you just see my nose grow?) |
|

oh that is just pure artistry right there! ![]() ![]() ![]() Now, where is the nearest gym? LOL! |
|

HAHAHA That was definitely one of the best cheesecakes I ever made. It was light and fluffy, made from scratch! I have the recipe if anyone wants it. |
