Spotlight: Difficult heart wordsBy Sharon Brown (Sharon) on January 14, 2013
|Sometimes we have to share very difficult words and this is one of those times.|
We lost a friend today, a Cubits member who shared her interests, her concerns, her knowledge, her writings and her creativity throughout our website. We know her as LaVonne, Dorothy Mitchell, and with her passing, many hearts are aching.
We placed LaVonne in the Spotlight some time ago, you might like to read it again right here.
She loved crafts, she enjoyed sewing and writing, and she particularly loved her friendship with her 'Sistahs' in the Sweet Interruptions Cubit. She will be deeply missed by many.
Her friends have asked me to share a Jim Reeves song, "This World is not My Home." You can hear it, too, if you click on the title.
LaVonne passed away today in Somerset, Kentucky, where she had been living near her children with her sister, Marti, since moving from California several years ago.
Rest peacefully, LaVonne, many hearts will miss you.
