Art will forever be my passion, because it tells a story without words. Sometimes I happen upon an artist who with one brush stroke can say more words than I could write in a lifetime. I'd like you to meet one of those very talented artists. Chances are, you might already know her.

We seem to have a school in common - I received my BA from Skidmore College many years ago. And living in the Adirondacks, what a wonderful place to be, I wish I was there again.
Wonderful paintings, I never felt good about my own freehand abilities; too much of a perfectionist, so I do things like woodworking for creativity instead. I can see the Rembrandt influence in the shading and expressions, it seems. With talent like that, keep up the good work. It seems to be never too late to follow some of those old dreams.
Look and listen for the welfare of the whole people and have always in view not only the present but also the coming generations, even those whose faces are yet beneath the surface of the ground -- the unborn of the future Nation. The Constitution of the Iroquois Nations.

Thanks. I did Skidmore for the 77-78 academic year and then to Syracuse. I was trying to learn everything = scared to go broke!! Skidmore had a great art program then but I felt like I needed more commercial push.

I like to draw. I wish I had more accuracy! At Skidmore they called me "the renderer"...I was a stickler for my drawing and they liked to go big and bold and free.
