If you want to meet a sweet and loving person with a lifetime of fascinating stories to tell, then let me introduce you to Valleylynn. Have you ever had to defend your family from a bear? Kill a rattlesnake? Encounter an intruder in your home? Feed fish to water moccasins? Me neither. But Lynn has...........
I love the article. We learn so much by reading about each and everyone of our on-line cubit friends.
Thank you Lynn for taking us on an adventureous time in your life.
You have had sch wonderful adventures that some folks only wish for.
Thank you Lynn and Thank you Nap for letting us know more about our friend.
Dirt! I'm older than dirt!!! I've been told.
Wonder what the age is tho??? I'm 66 and I know there are some in their 80's. Gardening keeps us young, doesn't it Lynn???
It just feels funny that I seem to be the youngest at 57 and I to feel as old as dirt. No, I would have been careful. Not fought with you for the extra time spending in bed lazing around or that cookie that you keep sneaking from the jar every now and then. Oh, well I think you have also earned the right to eat what ever you want.
How do you manage all these plants? I some times feel like giving up. Forces me to move and take care of them. These days I hate, I wish winter would go on leave but we are in for rain and snow by the end of the week. My small bones in my palms have given up and the right middle finger has taken to locking itself in closed position. So keeping away from damp soil and gardening.
I was born in that gorgeous red zone you see in the South of my country and now I feel like I am living in a deep freezer. Does not mean that summer does not drive me crazy it does, my kidneys decide to give up, uric acid goes up and then I cannot move due to joint pains and general misbehavior of joints. How do you all cope up with this?
Regards,
Arif.
Tri-flex works wonders for me Arif. I also wear a copper bracelet on left hand and magnetic bracelets on right arm. Not to mention coppers rings I have made. i look like a gypsy lady....
I have a copper bracelet but earrings would be a bit to much. I will either get a bad name, end up in the looney bin or get killed for being a 50/50. Pain killers are out due to acidity so I use my own Homoeopathy drugs. Life is quite fun as long as I am involved with plants. Keeps my mind free for meditation and disconnects me from the worries of the real world and as long as it is busy, no pains .
Good Night Charleen have a wonderful day
Regards,
Arif.
Arif, have you been tested for heavy metals in your system? Also you deal with things like malaria and other illness that we don't have here. I think you should get a complete blood work up to see what is going on. Also it takes a very long time for your body to recover after taking antibiotics. I so wish you weren't having these problems my friend.
I will be 70 this year and just recently am feeling like I have been given my life back. No longer on metformin, HCTZ now that I eat regular meals (no longer forgetting to eat when I should). And now I have the energy to walk at a fairly good clip. Just like old times.
I so look forward to this gardening season coming up. Still to cold and wet right now, but it won't be long.
I still have my bracelet from you Charleen. I love it.
We get everything that you can imagine and some. It is a part of life in the tropics, even though I am not in the tropics but for a couple of months we are. Got it, cured it but everything leaves something behind. Basically its just my back, otherwise I am quite fine. Lynn back effects kidneys, kidneys get effected by heat. Now look at this combination, summer above 40c and I am flat . Then I got Dengue in the Far East and Malaria in East Africa, winter I am flat but nothing wrong with me clinically. These pests hide in the liver where they are protected and come out when the conditions are just right . Nothing can be done about that.
Homoeopathy does not deal with diseases just symptoms. So no new disease as far as homeopathy is concerned. Treat the symptoms and get it over with. No fancy names being invented in Classical Homoeopathy.
Our average life expectancy in males is 45 and females is 65 something, due to mortality rate during childbirth. This is Asia. The figures are down due to the poor.

Arif.

Most welcome Charleen. I do not understand what age has to do with somethings. If my hip joint is getting corroded it is just luck. If my uric acid goes up due to kidneys and my joints get arthritis, I suppose that is also luck. My back got damaged, that is also luck. No Lynn age has nothing to do with it and some things a person should bear, unless you are suggesting I go for back surgery or hip joint replacement no thanks I want to make do with my natural ones until they last. Got one itsy bitsy operation done twenty years back and ended up with other silly problems.
Regards,
Arif.
I understand about the surgery.
As my husband says 'If I knew I was going to live so long, I would have taken better care of myself'. He makes me laugh every time he says it.
