Sometimes we meet others who touch our hearts with their words, and we are fortunate to have them become a part of our lives. That's the way I feel about Chelle, a very sweet and talented young woman from northern Indiana. I'd like you to meet her, too.

Chelle, your article was fantastic! You have always put your heart and soul in everything you do even when you used to draw your horse pictures on our walls just before it was time to repaint them. And I am so lucky to be able to enjoy your beautiful flower gardens every day!

From A VERY PROUD MOM, Rebecca

Hi Mom!

*Blush*

Gosh! I hadn't even thought of that! Do you still have photos of those early artistic endeavors?

Well, yes. The gardens evolved in great part because you loved blooms too! The great joy is in the sharing as each plant puts on its yearly show, or of a particularly pleasing result of a vignette planting, right? You always take the time to wander around the yard with me as I exclaim excitedly about this or that - thanks Mom....... for everything! Lovey dubby

Hope you don't mind if I share the fact that these are some of your flowers - they're so gorgeous!!

Hello Rebecca,

Thank you for sharing Chelle with us. It's a delight to meet you, too, and to see your lovely blooms.

You already know you have a wonderful daughter, and you already know the lives she's touched with her words and with her pictures. I think you might have contributed greatly to the woman she's become.

We are also very glad to see you on Cubits. Chelle will have to introduce you around.
Thank you again...

I love it when this happens! Mom gets to be proud of daughter. I'm sure you've been proud of her forever, but we love being able to show her off for you too.

Sharon and I each choose our own people to be interviewed, and I am jealous that she thought of Chelle first! LOL!

Hello, Chelle's Mom. It is a great honor to meet my friends mother. i have quite a few friends here, but Chelle and I both love our blooms and showing them to our friends. It is wonderful, she has her MOM to wander about the garden and enjoy the blooms and smells of the garden. It is so nice to chat with you.

Hi Chelle's friends! Thanks for all your comments! You all have been wonderful to Chelle and she has really enjoyed doing all of this with you.

Sharron, I read your post about your kitty this summer and cried with you. I know how much of a loss this was. I have rescued nine stray kitty's in the last 14 years. Most of them stay in a large room with access to a screen room that my husband added to our home two summers ago. It's so cute to see them all relaxing on my wicker furniture.....But, I put out the word a few years ago - no more kitty's!!!!!!

Strange...but not so strange...that you should write that right now, Rebecca. I have a friend whose kitty was injured yesterday by blunt force trauma to the head. It was inflicted by a steel toed boot, a shovel, a baseball bat....they don't really know what, but only that it wasn't a vehicular injury. Not an accident.....

The kitty is now blind, has no swallow reflex, and is in severe trauma. They are making a decision about the next step. So I've shed tears this morning over the horror and the trauma that must have been inflicted by a person. It's hard to believe.

And now you tell us that you have rescued 9 kitties. I guess in the last 30 years, I've rescued only 5, and except for Cupcake, they've all lived and loved for many years. Sometimes I think they've rescued me.

Your words were timely, particularly this morning. I needed to hear them. And I'll bet you do rescue the next kitty that needs you. Some of us are like that, we can't change who we are. I love the image of your kitties on your wicker. Lovely....

Thank you.

Yesterday, my darlin mule was sick. I was too. Called vet and he is better. I don't know how people can be so cruel to animals and other people.
blessings to you all for be a savior to animals.

Oh Sharon! That just makes me furious (!)......and so very, very sad.

I'll gladly send good thoughts the way of the person having to make such a tough decision.....and sympathetic thoughts to that poor kitty too!

Hang in there.

Charleen,

I didn't know Charley was ill! Is he all the way okay now? What happened - did he eat something he shouldn't have?

Sending Lovey dubby your way, share a hug with him from me!

i will share a hug. He is better today. Vet said it was GAS. I was so glad he hadn't coliced, cause I know it can kill them. Colic Terrifies me. I was almost giggly when she said Gas. She gave Charley two shots and he is so much better.
Poor kitty. I feel sad for it and Poor Sharon worrying about it.

I'm so glad Charley is feeling better!

The filly that came from my mare suffered through colic once...not fun. I pretty much camped out in the barn until she got better. The vet had to "tube" her and dump in a bunch of vegetable (?) oil.

I've heard of that. It breaks your heart to see them in so much pain. Yes, he is better, looking down the hill towards the horses pastured down there.
