Sharon, You've done it again! I'm so glad you chose to Spotlight Mary's life. Isn't she the best? I've been fortunate to participate in forums with Mary for several years, and I always enjoy her contributions, and down to earth views on life. Mary, I loved reading your story. Most of it I've heard before, in bits and pieces, as you spoke of your life in other threads and forums, but it's great to see it all tied together in one article. You and your hubby are an inspiration and blessing to many. It's such a pleasure knowing you. Deanna |

Absolutely the best, Deanna. I hoped you'd read it. Thanks. |

Thank you, Deanna. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sharon had to do a lot of talking to convince me to write it. She's very patient! Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. More ramblings at http://thegatheringplacehome.myfastforum.org/forum54.php |

I must agree this is a wonderful biography to read. All those trials and tribulations can make us stronger in the end, only if we have the proper perspective. You certainly don't have to prove anything to anyone, I would say that is already done many times over. I hope your adventures continue to be rewarding. Look and listen for the welfare of the whole people and have always in view not only the present but also the coming generations, even those whose faces are yet beneath the surface of the ground -- the unborn of the future Nation. Thank you, Patti and Lance. It's been a very interesting life, not always easy but that's what makes the really good parts so rewarding. We never know when an opportunity will arise to bless somebody. For instance, as we were leaving the event center after the Santa and kids photo sessions, we had walked out the door and Santa was called back inside. A young mother with a baby had driven 30 miles on icey roads to have her baby's picture taken with Santa so she could send it to her husband in Iraq. After the pictures were taken, hubby prayed with her for the safety of her husband. I'm sure they'll all be back next year or the year after. Assignment Santa Claus is quite likely to be on our schedule next year. The civic club was very happy and said he was the best Santa they ever had. (We don't even belong to that club). Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. More ramblings at http://thegatheringplacehome.myfastforum.org/forum54.php |
