After 13 years online, Cubits.org is scheduled to be shut down. Please make sure you have the contact information for all your friends, and that you download whatever content you want from this site.
This week you'll meet Kelli Kallenborn. Kelli loves the Great Outdoors. She likes to go hiking. In fact she owns a cubit titled Day Hikes. Fortunately for us, she takes her camera with her. Please join me in welcoming Kelli to the Spotlight.
... so nice to see you here! I've always loved your hikes filled with the greatest pictures. And I've seen some of your videos as well. Thanks for sharing your world with us in such a lovely way. I particularly remember your article about fires and how the earth and the plants renew themselves. It was such an informative article, and I learned much when I read it.

Although I've met Kelli in other places, I learned so much more about her here. I never would have guessed her career field! The pictures she posts are wonderful, and she knows the scientific names. I can't recall her ever posting a plant picture with a vague description. There are no pink whatchamacallits in her area! Going on a day hike with Kelli would provide a good educational experience. I'll be doing that when I visit her cubit.
Hi Kelli,
I really enjoyed "meeting you" through Nancy's article, and found your life to be so similar to mine! I, too, have enjoyed your DG articles and will now take a walk through Day Hikes! I am rediscovering Cubits, so hopefully our paths will cross later on!
Hi Kelli. As always, I enjoy reading everything that you write, watching your videos of your hikes and seeing all of the marvelous pictures that you post. Since you and I have been actively involved with providing worthwhile material at the same website (The Gathering Place) for about seven years, I feel that I know you well but have never actually met you face to face. Thank you for all that you do to entertain and educate us all at the same time here at Cubits, at DG and at The Gathering Place. Wish I could do one of those day hikes with you in person. Since I am getting older much more rapidly than I ever planned, I will probably just take small hikes here in my area, watch your videos, enjoy your posts and dream I am there with you. Thanks again for all that you do for everyone and for your friendship. I am proud to call you friend and you are the only rocket scientist I have ever known. Cool!!!!!

Being outside is always such fun, and filled with all sorts of new findings, even what you have seen before and enjoy all over again. Thanks for sharing your story, Nancy and Kelli.

Elena, you mean because you didn't mention me up there??? Goodness! I don't want recognition! In fact, I feel embarrassed by it. I am way happier hiding in the background and letting my guests get ALL the credit.
Nonetheless, you are to be complimented and acknowledged too.........My Bad! You are much too kind and shy and that is also to your good. Bless your heart for not being a glory hog but compliments should also be sent your way for what you do well. We do appreciate you and we want you to know it.
