Fascinating interview. I have so enjoyed the puzzles with your birds and look forward to many more. I agree with Arlene that tatting is almost a lost art. Do you still do it? Thank you for another wonderful interview, Nancy. I recently acquired some rescue birds - 2 lovebirds and 2 cockatiels - so I can appreciate having birds around. They are fun, but not quite ready yet to be allowed out of their cage. One lovebird is smart enough it figured out how to lift open the feeder door and let itself out and back in. This door is now tied shut unless in use. Maybe some day, my son and I will enjoy having a bird hang out on our shoulder or hand.
