What an interesting life you've had. One can tell there's lots of love in your family. The next time I feel frustrated or think I'm having a bad day, I'm going to re-read your story for inspiration! Bubbles...an ole Mississippi gal.. |

Dear Cheryl, what can one say I am lost for words. I am glad that we met through the farming cubit and now we have the odd chat through your own cubit. You always have the ability to make me laugh. Keep up the good work. Regards from England. Neil. |

Zany, I am glad you enjoyed it. I wind down from my full days by doing a puzzle each night on your cubit. Aloha, Thank you for your encouragement. I figure saying "Good morning, God!" is a much better start than "Good God, morning!". God has been good to me and I want to enjoy every second of my life. Neil, I too am so glad our paths crossed and I treasure our friendship. I am always telling people about my friend in England. |

Nancy, Thanks for letting us know more about a wonderful transplant to Kentucky. I have gotten to know bits and pieces about Cheryl and her life both here and on DG, but this really filled in some blanks and makes me wish even more that I could meet her in person. Living sustainably comes with learning to see the world in a new way. |

I felt the same way, Cheryl. I think about knowing all of you as little square pictures, and I tend to pick up bits and pieces of personalities throughout the threads. That's the reason this cubit came into being. I want to know you all better. Thanks for reading! |

Hi friend! Although I've known you for years on 3 websites, I still got quite a few surprises when I read your story! It's nice to see so many nice pictures of you and your family. Love and concern for others is there again and again throughout your life. I'm glad to know you better. Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. Sally, I so wish I could meet you too. I'm sure we'd hit it off right away. Donna, you are so kind. We are really looking forward to the boys being here. We are working with the horses now to have them ready for summer. Dahlia, that is so cool that we collect the same books! Do you read them too? Vic, I am blessed and I thank God for all my blessings. There are many people who deal with much worse problems than me and I pray for them. I am glad you enjoyed my recollections. Mary, I will never forget your kindness in sending me ruhbarb. It was so thoughtful. I enjoy our friendship so much. |

Howdy Cajun-Cheryl... What a great read and nice peek at your life. In spite of the ailments ya'll have really persevered and been blessed with good spirits, good family, and "the good life"! Way to go! Love your pics! What a bunch of happy folks you have there. And having the youngin's spend the summer with you was icing on the cake, wasn't it? Wishing you and yours the best of the best. Keep smiling! Shoe (And Vic, if we ever get to go camping in KY again we should head to Cheryl's, eh? *grin) |
Not without me, you won't, Shoe. I'll be right there with you and Vic. (If I can cross over all the water to get there....) |
Shoe, you would all be very welcome! I'd love to meet you. If you like camping, check out Breaks Interstate Park. It's 20 minutes from my house. |

Cool! Sounds like a "Cubit Up" (as opposed to a Round Up) could be in the making someday, eh? What a gathering that would be! Yeh, I saw you had lots of rain your way, Sharon. Melody says her garden is under 8" of water. She should start doing rice paddies, methinks. Vic! What a great pic/avatar you have up. What a happy smiling youngin' you are! I love it! Cheryl, I've never ridden on a horse. I rode a tick-infested bony-ribbed scrub cow once, when I was about ten or twelve years old (on a dare). All present enjoyed it except me and the cow. I hope horses are different. Shoe (off to fix pascetti for supper) (Vic, didja get that? Breaks Interstate Park?) |
