I have a very good friend who is a botanist, a scientist, an artist and a writer. I'm sure if I delved deeper I would find even more talents. Did you ever have a dream about something that didn't exist; an elephant with stripes and a short stubby nose or a kitty who barks like a dog? My friend has dreams like this about plants, then sets about turning those dream plants into realities. Let's go to Florida and meet LariAnn.

Thanks LariAnn and Sharon.
I loved reading about how your passion grew, LariAnne. Loved reading about how you kept it alive and let it consume you into this fertile place.
Very rich and deep purpose!

And in the end...a happy beginning!
What a great article about a great topic and someone I've often wondered about!

Nice to read a behind-the-scenes perspective of you, LariAnn. You're living an intriguing life, working with those plants, creating new ones, enjoying your Aroidia world. You have chosen a great purpose in life, you must feel highly rewarded with that choice.

Good going! Both to Sharon and LariAnn for sharing.

When in doubt, do the cross!
And thank you all for taking the time to read my story and comment on it! I had so much more that I could have written, but just hit the highlights so everyone could learn a little more about where I'm "coming from". I do feel that the work I'm doing is rewarding and am glad to hear from folks who appreciate it.
